Need for Environmental Focus
Due
to the increasing urbanization, the natural environment has been greatly
affected because of the pollutions caused by the industries, due to human
activities which has led to global warming and green house effect. We have been
noticing a significant change in the climate due to the global warming. The
natural resources have been depleted and now the consumers are more focused in
the environmental aspects by using eco-friendly products. The consumers are now
aware of the importance of the reuse, recycle and reduce of the products. They
behavior of the consumer has changed and they are looking now for ecofriendly
products. Due to this covid pandemic outbreak the consumers are more worried
about the environment and the issues related to it with regarding to the
health. Now the concept of sustainability is becoming more popular and people
are aware of the importance of the sustainability. Many
consumers are now supporting the products which are environment friendly even
though if the price is a bit high.
Due
to the concerns over the environment and importance of the sustainability,
there emerged a concept called the green marketing and it is a highly debated
topic all across the world. This concept of the green marketing is in concern
with the protection of the ecological environment. This is an attempt to
protect the welfare of the consumer and the nature. This involves promotion of
environment friendly and quality products. Many international organizations
have started the awareness of promoting the green marketing and help in
protecting the environment. The media have started campaign to make awareness
to the consumers regarding the green marketing.
